It's obvious that since disaster struck the economy that more and more people are desperately short of money, and are looking for ways to save money, and earn extra money.
I have been looking at ways to do this for a number of years and from my experiences i have listed a number which can work below. Hope this helps!
1. Dropshipping & Ebay - It is possible that you can make money on eBay, by selling stuff which isn't actually yours! I know this sounds dodgy - but this is how it works. DropShipping is where you open an account with a DropShipper who can sell you stock at a reduced RRP. You list these items on Ebay for a profit, sometimes as much as 60%. Someone buys the item, you place the order with the dropshipper who then delivers this direct to the buyer. You take the profit between what you get from the buyer, and what the item cost from the dropshipper. Be careful when selecting a Dropshipper - there are some unscrupulous and unreliable one. The best ones which i can recommend as working are: http://www.activ8uk.co.uk/ and http://www.chinavasion.com/
2. Sell your stuff on Ebay - It's an obvious one really. Sell your stuff on Ebay that you don't need or want! One of the best things to sell on Ebay is mobile phones. If they are less than 2 years old, you will get more on Ebay for these than you would from advertised "sell your mobile" sites.
3. Get cash back from shopping and save at the same time - Yes, its true - by looking in the right place you can save big money on shopping AND get cash back at the same time. Quidco is one of the largest Cash back and Voucher Codes sites. Its FREE to join, and there are some amazing deals to snap up. You can register your card details, so that when you shop at one of their thousands of retailers you earn cash back from your purchases. You can also find amazing deals, and earn cash back online from going through Quidco. You can even do this with Car insurance! An example: I saved £300 on my car insurance and got £25 cash back. I also got £50 cash back from taking out a Virgin Money ISA, and just over £10 from shopping in Halfords. Check it out and start saving: Quidco
4. Save on your Utility bills - With Gas and Electricity prices constantly on the rise, its important that you get the best deal. By switching to a fixed, or online account with a supplier you can save hundreds of pounds! We did this by switching from Southern Electric, to British Gas on a web saver tariff and we have saved around £350 a year! Take a look at how much you can save: www.uswitch.com
5. Shop around for Car Insurance - It is amazing and shocking how many people just accept their renewal price on car insurance. This is a big no, and you could be costing yourselves big money by not shopping around. I recently got my car insurance cheaper by shopping around, and getting a good deal. Lots of car insurance compare sites out there, but if you want to save & get cash back as well then take a look at Quidco
6. Collect Nectar points on shopping - Another way of collecting points on your shopping is with a Nectar card. There are lots of retailers where you can collect points, including BP services stations, Salisbury's, Ford, and British Gas. Both in store and online! You can even collect points just by having a Nectar Toolbar in your Internet browser! Check it out and start collecting: www.nectar.com
